Auntie LEW Teaches Leo Yoga

Thank you Linda for taking such good care of your Sista and Leo while Brad was in Rwanda. Leo is still overly satisfied with his ability to lift his legs in a sitting position and has mastered the sun salutation. He is a sponge. I hope your interest in textile shopping and chocolate testing catches on in a few months too.

For those of you planning a visit to Guatemala, Linda and I discovered some new places within and close to the city. Chocotenango in Antigua has some of the best chocolates we have ever tried. We brought an assortment of them back to our hotel and watched hummingbirds with Leo in between tastes of basil, mole and cardamom. Linda is an avid rider so we found a stable minutes away from the house. The barn was filled with Andalusian horses with fairytale manes and strong bodies. Leo went nuts to see the horses up close.

I am hopeful we will see Auntie LEW again very soon as I found her running shoes stored in the Guest Room closet. Thanks for all of the great meals (Panza Verde and G&Ts), hanging out in kid friendly places (Children's Museum and Playzone) and being my Sista! Congratulations as well on finishing your poster presentation while here (yes, work can be completed here too!). Good luck in Boston. We miss you and love you very much.

Happy 1st Father's Day Brad

Big Smooch... Dad's Home!

Brad spent his first Father's Day in Kigali, Rwanda at an HIV conference for USAID. Leo missed his morning weekend walk and night time cuddle and song with his Papa. He uttered his first "DaDaDa" today. In honor of Leo's great Papa here is a little video...
