Due to Baboo's advanced age, Leo calmly surprised him on his 65th Birthday after traveling from Guatemala City to Minneapolis. It was a success. We enjoyed a small family birthday party with Aunties Linda (who traveled from San Francisco) Kym and Laurie, Uncle Adam, Grandma Carolina (AKA Buela), Papa Brad (via Skype) and of course, cousin Alexander Harrison Wilbrecht. Leo and his Mom were well fed on their visit. Leo tried chicken for the first time and even got to suck on a forbidden McDonald's french frie. He was in heaven. While in the land of big, white giants and 10,000 lakes, Leo learned how big he really was.
Happy Birthday Dad! We are so pleased we have gotten to be with you three years in a row for your birthday. One year with the Cherry Blossoms, the second year with the wild flowers and Leo in the belly, and the third at home with our whole family and the blooming magnolia. Muchos abrazos y besos muy fuertes!
